Severe Thuderstorm Warnings were issued for parts of the Tri-State Wednesday evening, August 20, 2014.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has expired for Boone and Kenton Counties until 5:15 p.m.
The National Weather Service showed the storm moving at about 30 miles per hour, with possible wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour.
Areas in the storm's path looked for small hail and brief periods of rainfall.
Temperatures will remain in the 80s.
