CINCINNATI -- A stretch of eastbound Interstate 74 in Hamilton County reopened at about 7:30 p.m. Friday after tractor trailer crashed and caught fire, officials said.
The truck crashed near the Hamilton Cleves Pike Road Exit (Exit 7) shortly after 4:30 p.m. near Whitewater Township.
The back of the semi detached from the rig and caught fire. The trailer, which is 50 feet long, crashed through the guardrail and into westbound traffic.
One car hit debris and there are some minor injuries. The driver of the semi is out and appears to be fine, authorities said.
