CINCINNATI -- A West Chester man charged with raping a woman at a Hamilton County nursing home is scheduled to appear in court Friday for arraignment.
Officer Robert Voland of the Deer Park Police Department said 22-year-old Samuel Onyenweaku engaged in sexual conduct with an elderly woman at Amber Park - Brookdale Senior Living home on Sunday, Nov. 24.
Onyenweaku was aware the woman suffers from severe mental illness, Voland said.
He said the victim was unable to resist the assault because of her condition and because she "was substantially impaired because of advanced age."
Onyenweaku is being held at the Hamilton County Jail on a $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m.
