Police release image of suspect in Green Twp. abduction of teen girl

GREEN TWP. - Green Township Police and the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office released a security camera image of a man who abducted a teenager at a car wash Monday.

An 18-year-old girl was taken from the Four Seasons Car Wash in Green Township Monday afternoon and forced to drive to a nearby outdoor ATM, Lt. Jim Vetter of the Green Twp. police said.

"This is a very busy area and it was a very bold act," Vetter said.

The incident happened around 2:40 p.m. in the 4500 block of Bridgetown Road.

Authorities say the victim was cleaning her car when a male suspect entered her vehicle, implied he had a gun and told her to drive to the nearby ATM where she gave him an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect ordered the victim to drive him to Belden Court at Werk Roads where he fled from the vehicle.

"The victim absolutely did the right thing," Vetter said. "It's obviously a very, very scary situation. She's very brave and remained calm."

The suspect remains at large.

Police are looking for a white male in his late teens to early 20s, 5 feet 9 inches tall and has a long, skinny nose. He was described as wearing a dark colored hoodie.

Anyone with information is asked to call Green Twp. Police Investigative Unit at (513) 598-3079 or Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
