CINCINNATI – Authorities arrested a man they say kidnapped a 9-year-old girl and raped her in his Roselawn apartment.
Police said Ronald Martin, 64, took the girl to his apartment in the 1800 block of Losantiville Avenue on April 29.
When officers searched his residence, they said they found toys and stuffed animals – even though he has no children living with him in the home.
Martin is charged with one count of rape, two counts of gross sexual imposition and one count of kidnapping.
If convicted on all charges, he faces the possibility of life in prison.
“This is a serious case and we are concerned that there might be more young victims,” Hamilton County Prosecuting Attorney Joe Deters said.
Authorities ask anyone with information about this case call the Cincinnati Police Department Personal Crimes Unit or Detective Hollis Hudepohl at 513-352-6474.
