CINCINNATI -- Two people were killed in an accident in Northside late Monday night.
The crash happened in the 4700 block of Kirby Avenue just before 11:50 p.m.
Police say Recardo King, 30, was driving a 1998 Audi A6 southbound on Kirby Avenue when he lost control of the car.
The vehicle went off the roadway, down an embankment and struck a tree, according to investigators.
King sustained fatal injuries as well as his front seat passenger, Deonte White, 31.
Police say Marcus Grissom, 26, was seated in the back of the Audi and sustained minor injuries.
Investigators say speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.
The Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation and any witnesses are asked to contact the Cincinnati Police Department Traffic Unit (513) 352-2514
