Passport to Beer Friday in Winton Woods features 25 summer brews to beat the heat

CINCINNATI -- If you're looking to beat the summer heat, heading over to Winton Woods for a tasty craft beer may be a refreshing option.

The Hamilton County Park District is holding a summer beer tasting in Winton Woods called "Passport to Beer Friday" to celebrate the summer with craft beers. 

Featuring more than 25 summertime lagers, ales and porters, the event will begin Friday at 7 p.m. and runs until 9:30 p.m.

Beer enthusiasts and those looking to beat the heat should head to the Mill Race Banquet Center at Winton Woods to take part. However, you have to have a valid Great Parks of Hamilton County Motor Vehicle Permit to enter the park.

Advanced registration is required and tickets are $25 per person or $17 per designated driver, but you get to keep a souvenir tasting glass.

Participants must be 21 years old or older to attend.
