Woman, boyfriend face drug, child endangerment charges for allegedly selling marijuana out of home

Child had gun put to her head during robbery

CINCINNATI -- A woman and her boyfriend with two young children are facing charges after police say they were selling marijuana out of their home.

Yohna Bryant, 29, is charged with three counts of child endangerment and possession of drugs.

Dorian McGruder, 34, charged with four charges of possession of drugs, trafficking of drugs and child endangerment.

Police say a robbery occurred at the home while the two young children were inside. Police then discovered that Bryant and her boyfriend were cultivating and selling more than 200 grams of marijuana. The couple had more than 40 plants growing inside the home.

During the robbery, one of the young girls was grabbed by the suspect, forced into another room with a gun to her head before the robber took one pound of pot from McGruder, police say. Another child was bitten.

Bryant and McGruder both pleaded not guilty in court Friday morning. Both of their bonds were set at $50,000 for each child endangerment charge and $10,000 for each drug charge. The judge ordered no contact with the children.
