BEIJING - A Tri-State resident was killed in China Wednesday, state media in that country reports.
Howard Thomas Mills, 62, of Indian Hill, was stabbed to death in downtown Beijing Wednesday.
Mills is the husband of a Senior Technologist at Procter and Gamble. Mills was with his wife on a business trip there.
Chinese state media Xinhua is reporting that Mills was stabbed allegedly by An Li Bo, 35, of Shanghai. Xinhua says while there has been a rise of anti-foreigner sentiment recently, the police investigating the stabbing don't believe it is related.
Xinhua reports An has attacked other people with a knife in Shanghai. He is currently in police custody.
