NORWOOD, Ohio - A woman is accused of using two of her children to help her steal from an Old Navy in Norwood.
Officials at the Rookwood Commons store say they observed Latasha Oden, 29, taking clothing for children and infants off hangers and putting it inside backpacks worn by her children.
Store security told police that they stopped Oden and she refused to cooperate with them or show them what was inside the backpacks.
She was later arrested by police officers at the Max & Erma's in the same shopping center.
Owens has been charged with theft, resisting arrest and three counts of child endangering.
She’s being held on $6,000 bond.
