Walton, Ky. man dies after late night ATV incident in Independence

INDEPENDENCE, Ky. -- A Walton man died Saturday night after a crash involving an all-terrain vehicle.

Joseph Robinson, 35, died at about 11:30 p.m. when an Arctic Cat Prowler he was a passenger on rolled over twice on the driveway of a house located at 12299 Riggs Road in Independence, Kenton County Police said.

Danielle M. Marsh, 33, of Independence was driving the ATV when she lost control and it slid sideways before rolling. She was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Two other men on the two-passenger Arctic Cat, Donald Marsh, 64, and Benjamin Marsh, 32, both of Independence, were also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say Robinson was dead by the time medics with the Independence Fire Department arrived on the scene.

The Kenton County Police Department Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate the incident.
