ERLANGER, Ky. -- Interest in an annual Northern Kentucky real estate spectacle is at an all-time high this year, but Sunday is the last chance for curious eyes to take a peek inside some of the region's most impressive new homes.
The Cavalcade of Homes is Northern Kentucky's largest celebration of new homes! Running for three weekends, this complimentary event, boasts homes in various price ranges across the region's three counties.
Sunday is the last day for interested participants to take part in the event. Homes are open from noon until 5 p.m.
Brian Miller, executive vice president of the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky, said interest has been up this year, leading to increased home sales in the area.
"The crowds have been up this year at many locations and our website traffic is up 53 percent over average years. We are hearing from our registered builders that homes are selling at the event and several future, new homebuyers are lining up to build in the near future as a result of The Cavalcade of Homes," said Miller whose organization is behind the event.
Part of the reason for the success of the event -- and in recent home sales -- is the improvement to the Cavalcade's website and the addition of a new mobile page, according to Miller.
On the mobile page a visitor can check out all of the homes, get driving directions, call the builders, browse the photo galleries and more.
"Many visitors to our website and our mobile experience have commented on how easy it is to tour the Cavalcade homes and make it from place to place as a result of our outstanding use of technology for this year's Cavalcade of Homes," he said.
There is no charge to tour Cavalcade of Homes properties.
Information about the event is available on the Cavalcade of Homes website and by calling (859) 331-9500.
