EDGEWOOD, Ky. -- Friends and family of Kathleen Reinzan say they have finally raised enough money to hold a funeral for her.
Reinzan, 25, was killed in a crash on Oct. 31 in Edgewood.
Officers said Reinzan was hit by a school bus after turning left out of a restaurant’s service road and onto Madison Pike.
Since her death, Reinzan’s family had been struggling to pay the costs for a funeral for the mother of four.
The family told 9 On Your Side’s Kendall Herold that they had reached enough funding and scheduled the service on Monday.
Family members said a visitation will take place Monday at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Serenity Funeral Home.
The burial will take place at Floral Hills Cememtery in Taylor Mill.
Memorial donations can be made to the Kathleen Reinzan Memorial Fund at any Fifth Third banks.
