t was not clear how many people may be hurt, but a witness said the driver of the car that flipped from the upper deck walked away from the crash.
A highway official was called to Brent Spence Bridge to inspect the safety of the structure before crews reopened it.
COVINGTON, Ky. -- A couple who was literally overturned in a scary car accident last weekend returned home Wednesday with an unforgettable story to tell.
The crash involved eight cars, and shut down the Brent Spence Bridge for hours .

April McDonald and her fiancé, Jarrett Holifield, were inside the car that launched from one ramp of I-75 down to the one below.
"I closed my eyes and I just opened them when we were already on the other bridge," McDonald said.
Four days later, the couple was able to relax at home with their young son.
"It's a blessing," McDonald said. "I'm just glad we made it out."
