CINCINNATI - People started lining up early Wednesday morning for a chance to snag a job a Jungle Jim's newest location in Eastgate.
Jobseekers started lining up at about 6 a.m. Wednesday for the second day of Jungle Jim's International Market job fair, which starts at 10 a.m. Hundreds waited in a huge line and braved the scorching heat on Tuesday for the job fair.
"We got here around 9:40 and I didn't get to talk to someone until 11:20 so the wait was a little long but definitely worth to get my interview in," said Corey Harper of Hamersville on Tuesday.
The Eastgate store is set to open on Sept. 25.
The hiring frenzy started at the Union Township Civic Center, located at 4350 Aicholtz Road on Tuesday, July 31 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.The second job fair takes place Wednesday during the same hours.
"We're looking for 300 to 400 good people to work here," said Jungle Jim's Spokeswoman Kathy Dick.
Jungle Jim's will be hiring for all departments, inexperienced and experienced workers that will be able to work weekends and evenings.
