HAMILTON, Ohio - A Hamilton woman is "99 percent healed" from a deep, open wound in her stomach that initially her husband had to care for by himself.
The I-Team first told you about Linda and Roger Conrad in May . Her government insurance wouldn't pay for home health care and forced her discharge after a series of stomach surgeries with the wound still gaping open.
Fort Hamilton Hospital stepped forward and provided Linda free medical care, including a special medical device that speeded the healing of the wound from the six months it would have taken on its own to just eight weeks.
