CINCINNATI - The Hamilton County prosecutor is currently investigating anunknown number of employees from Job and Family Services.

Our initial tip came from a former fraud investigator who waslaid off when Job and Family Services completely eliminated one ofOhio's best welfare fraud units. We first broke that story inMay.

The allegation from our source is that case workers put theirown families on food stamps.

Job and Family Services referred our calls to the HamiltonCounty prosecutor, who confirms his office is investigating.

9 News was unable to accertain how many employees may beinvolved or how much money was allegedly taken since no one istalking and the investigation is still open. However, it is knownthat Job and Family Services employees haven't had a raise inyears, and the agency recently saw its entire budget cut inhalf.
