CINCINNATI - Cincinnati is about to have three new millionaires.
Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati announced Friday during an all-day block party that three winners from Cincinnati and three from Cleveland will all walk away with $1 million in cash between July and September.
Reward members at Caesars Entertainment's Ohio locations have a chance to win the prize this summer.
The "$3 Million Summer Giveaway" was announced at all three of the and Horseshoe Cleveland and Horseshoe Cincinnati at separate, day-long celebration events.
One million dollars cash will be given to one winner each at both Horseshoe Cleveland and Horseshoe Cincinnati on those dates.
Members of the Caesars Entertainment promotion club, Total Rewards, may enter the drawings at Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati, Horseshoe Casino Cleveland and ThistleDown Racino (in Cleveland) by swiping their Total Rewards card at a promotional kiosk.
Total Rewards members may swipe their card once a day for free and will earn an additional entry for every "25 Tier Credits" earned from playing slots or table games.
Entries for Cleveland can be earned at both Horseshoe Cleveland and ThistleDown Racino and the announcement will be simulcast at both northeast Ohio locations.
Drawings will be held at 9 p.m. in each city on: Saturday, July 20; Saturday, Aug. 10; and Sunday, Sept. 1. There will be one guaranteed million-dollar winner per drawing.
Winners will be announced via casino-wide announcement and the winners will be notified by phone if they do not report to collect their winnings, according to the press release.
The press release indicates winners do not need to be present to win the prizes.
Total Rewards membership is free to all casino guests. Guests can sign up for free at www.totalrewards.com or by visiting the Total Rewards Center, open 24 hours per day, at each casino.
The beach themed party, which runs from 11:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m., features summer games, live music, entertainers and prizes in the casino's outdoor venue, The Shoe.
The block party is free and open to the public.
