Springfield Township Arts and Enrichment Council will hold a Storyteller Celebration at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at Wyoming Fine Arts Center in Cincinnati.
The event is for all ages.
According to a press release from Springfield Township Arts and Enrichment Council, "Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park's Off the Hill Series is proud to share three master storytellers: Bronx Zoo storyteller-in-residence LuAnn Adams, National Storytelling Network Circle of Excellence Award winner Lyn Ford, and Duncanson Artist-in-Residence Diane Macklin."
"These three extraordinary storytellers have been bringing their craft to the Playhouse and to the region's schools for many years. Each has her own distinctive style, yet each works with great passion and heart. When we found out that Diane Macklin had been named Duncanson Artist-in-Residence at the Taft Museum this fall, right at the same time that LuAnn Adams was visiting schools for us, we knew that we had a great moment to celebrate all three artists. It's marvelous to recognize their work. At the same time, it's a unique opportunity for us to collaborate with both the Taft and with two community arts groups -- The Springfield Township Arts and Enrichment Council and the Wyoming Fine Arts Center," said Mark Lutwak, Playhouse education director.
Admission is free, and tickets are not required.
Wyoming Fine Arts Center is at 322 Wyoming Ave., Cincinnati.
