Police arrest Austin R. Tiernan in double-shooting at H.D. Bean Café in Silverton

SILVERTON, Ohio -- An arrest was made Friday evening in connection with a double-shooting at a café in Silverton.

Austin R. Tiernan, 22, is accused of shooting Neldon Terry, 33, and Jeron Wilson, 31 just before 2 a.m. Friday at H.D. Bean Café.

Investigators said one of the victims was found at the scene. That person was taken to Bethesda Hospital for treatment.

Police said Deer Park officers took the other victim to Jewish Hospital where he was stabilized before being transferred to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Terry was shot in the arm and Wilson in the neck. Both men are expected to recover from their injuries.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Silverton police closed off a block of Montgomery Road near the business during their investigation Friday morning.

Deputies said a vehicle near the café was also shot during the attack but no one was injured.

Tiernan was transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center to await arraignment.
