SHARONVILLE, Ohio -- A man is in custody after a high-speed chase in Sharonville early Monday morning.

Police say the pursuit began on westbound Interstate 275 in Sharonville at about 2:45 a.m.

Officers say they tried to stop Gordon Franklin, 22, in a grey Chevy Impala for traffic violations and noticed the car was stolen when he refused to stop.

The chase led to speeds up to 110 mph, according to investigators.

The pursuit ended when Franklin exited the highway onto the Cincinnati-Dayton Road exit in Butler County and stopped the car at the end of the ramp, according to officers.

Police arrested Franklin and charged him will OVI, receiving stolen property, fleeing and eluding, driving under suspension and multiple traffic violations.

Three juvenile passengers from the Dayton area were also taken into custody.

Two of the juveniles were wanted on warrants from Montgomery County and were taken to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.

The other juvenile passenger was released to a parent.

Police say the vehicle was stolen from Fairborn, Ohio.

Franklin was taken to the Hamilton County Justice Center.

No injuries were reported.
