CINCINNATI - A woman is accused of threatening a mother with a knife after entering her residence on the pretense of a broken down vehicle.
Police said Florence Beard, 28, went to a residence in the 10800 block of Sharondale Road on July 15 and told the homeowner she had a broken down car and was in need of assistance.
Once Beard was inside the apartment, she brandished a large knife and pointed it to the mother's chest while demanding money, according to police.
Officials said the victim gave Beard $30 and her cellphone before she fled the apartment.
Beard was in the Hamilton County Municipal Court Monday morning where her bond was set at $200,000.
