Registered voters in Norwood will vote on a variety of issues on the Tuesday, Nov. 5, election ballot.
Voters will elect one Norwood president of council, one Norwood treasurer, one Norwood City Director of Law, three Norwood members of council at large, one Norwood member of council, one judge of Hamilton County Municipal Court and three Norwood City School District Board of Education members.
Constituents will also vote for or against two tax levy renewals.
The first levy renewal for Hamilton County reads, "A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County for the purpose of providing funds for operating expenses and capital improvements at a rate not exceeding one mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to ten cents for each $100 of valuation, for 10 years, commencing in 2014, first due in calendar year 2015."
The second renewal for Hamilton County says, "A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Hamilton County, Ohio, for the purpose of providing or maintaining zoological parks services and facilities at a rate not exceeding forty-six hundredths mill for each $1 of valuation, which amounts to four and six-tenths cents for each $100 of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014."
