Surveillance video from a Mount Healthy school shows a brawl during a kindergarten graduation ceremony.
MOUNT HEALTHY, Ohio -- Surveillance video released Wednesday shows how fights unfolded during a kindergarten graduation ceremony at North Elementary School in Mount Healthy on Monday.
Police say Raymond Walker, 33, started the fight. Walker turned himself in Thursday.
"It was horrible," parent Kim Calai said. "I'm standing there, and all of a sudden this rush of people throwing punches is coming at me."
Calai's son was graduating in the ceremony when the fight broke out. She said the children on stage witnessed violence between several parents.
WATCH the surveillance video in the player above to see the "pretty scary" commotion take place. At the top of the screen, some parents start scuffling about 10 seconds into the video.
Walker is charged with assault and felony inducing panic. School leaders want to prosecute Walker to the fullest extent of the law, according to Mount Healthy City School District Superintendent Lori Handler.
