Officials say the two shootings are connected, but have not released information about how they are related. There are no suspects in custody with either shooting.
Police arrested one person after the shooting on Van Buren Street. When officials responded to the scene, many people crowded around the victim and police say one person, the victim's relative, refused to step away. Officials arrested the individual for misconduct.
