GREEN TWP., Ohio -- Police say two juveniles stole a vehicle then led them on a chase through Green Township early Friday.
An officer saw a suspicious silver Nissan Altima being driven through the area of Greenway and Westbourne when the driver committed a traffic violation, according to officials. When the officer tried to pull the car over, the two suspects sped away.
Police say the vehicle crashed into a large boulder near the 2100 block of Van Blaricum Road and the two suspects fled on foot.
Canine officers tracked the suspects and the passenger of the stolen car was bitten, according to officials. He was treated at Children's Hospital before he was taken to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.
Police say they discovered the vehicle was stolen and numerous objects found in the car had been stolen from vehicles in the City of Cincinnati and Green Township. Both suspects admitted to several car break-ins in the area.
The driver of the car was taken to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center on charges of felony theft of an automobile, felony fleeing and eluding and several other misdemeanor and traffic violations.
