GREEN TWP., Ohio -- The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and the Green Township Police Department issued arrest warrants Sunday for an 18-year-old accused of robbing and shooting a man at an apartment on Cheviot Road.
The felonious assault and aggravated robbery charges against Derrick Irby-Patterson III, 18, of Cincinnati, stem from an incident late Friday night in the 6000 block of Cheviot Rd.
Police responded to an apartment at that address just before midnight after receiving a report of a person shot. They found a 20-year-old male at the scene suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to a release from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
Medics took the victim to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment. His condition is not known at this time.
Investigators say Irby-Patterson frequents College Hill, Colerain Township and Price Hill. He may be driving a gray 2005 Toyota Camry with the Ohio license plate GCZ8841, according to a press release Sunday.
The original release issued Saturday stated two suspects were involved in the matter. It's unclear if a second suspect is still being sought.
Both Green Township and the sheriff's office continue to investigate.
