CINCINNATI - One of two men charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection to a Forest Park double homicide was sentenced Wednesday morning.
A judge sentenced Austin Turney to 25 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to two counts of involuntary manslaughter.
Investigators said Perez Hurry and Turney shot Juanatis Bailey and Gregory Hill to death on Oct. 12, 2012.
Police discovered the shootings after Hill was transported to Jewish Hospital with a gunshot wound. He later died from his injuries.
Hill was shot at about 12:30 a.m. in the 1990 block of Waycross Road.
At the same address, police responded to reports of shots fired around 11:40 a.m. Police searched the area and found Bailey lying in the grass with a fatal gunshot wound.
