Fairfield stabbing: Police arrest man involved in early morning stabbing

FAIRFIELD –  Police arrested a man in connection to a stabbing that occurred inside inside a business early Saturday morning.

Fairfield police arrested Jonathan Garcia Landol after responding a call of a stabbing at 6:12 a.m. in the 2700 block of Symmes Road, according to Public Information Officer Doug Day.

A man, who police have not yet identified, was transported to Mercy Hospital of Fairfield before being AirCared to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with sever wounds.

Witnesses at the scene were being questioned about what took place at the business.

Landol, who also went by Mario Rosales-Garcia, was charged with two counts of felonious assault and is being held at the Butler County Jail.

Landol is scheduled to be arraigned in Fairfield Municipal Court Monday, Aug. 27 at 9 a.m.
