2 years later, family and friends remember life of Chelsea Johnson

FAIRFIELD, Ohio - Two years later, there are not many answers in the unsolved death of a 15-year old Fairfield girl.

Chelsea Johnson was found stabbed to death in a creek off Patterson Road on April 16, 2012, two days after telling her mother she was going to the store.

Police located her body about two miles from the apartment she shared with her mother, Vicky Fible.

Loved ones gathered Saturday, almost two years to the day of her disappearance, at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mount Healthy to celebrate Johnson's life.

For her mother, it was also an opportunity to bring new attention this unsolved case.

"If they get on the ball, yeah I hope (they find her killer)…It should have already happened,” said Fible whose daughter was a freshman at Options Academy of Fairfield. “I feel like if we were downtown Cincinnati it would have already. (The killer) would have already been charged by now."

Anyone with information on the matter is asked to call Fairfield Township police or CrimeStoppers at 513-352-3040.
