Police: Suspect uses gasoline, sets man on fire in Elmwood Place

CINCINNATI -- A man police say used gasoline to set another man on fire in Elmwood Place waived his court appearance Thursday in lieu of a competency hearing and was given a $500,000 bond.

Donnell Goodbread, 34, is charged with aggravated arson after the incident on March 1 at a residence in the 6600 block of Vine Street.

Police say Goodbread threw gasoline on the victim and set him on fire. An eyewitness saw Goodbread at the scene with a gas can.

The victim sustained serious burns.
