Richard B. Freeman arrested in two break-ins, auto theft in Colerain Township

COLERAIN TWP., Ohio – Police say they arrested a man who broke into a pizzeria and the hair salon next door after stealing a car from a dealership.

Workers at Snappy Tomato Pizza, 7074 Harrison Ave., noticed Richard B. Freeman, 66, acting suspiciously after they closed for the night.

They returned later and found a break-in at Snappy Tomato and Salona Hair Studio.

Based on their information, Colerain police broadcast the vehicle and suspect description, and Harrison police arrested Freeman on New Haven Road in Harrison, Ohio.

Freeman was driving a 2012 Honda Odyssey stolen from Jeff Wyler Honda on Colerain Avenue, police said. He also has stolen property from the pizzeria and hair salon, police said.

Freeman was charged with two counts of breaking and entering, two counts of vandalism, auto theft and possessing criminal tools.
