CINCINNATI - The discovery of a white powder at a West End business caused its closure early Tuesday morning.
Police responded to the US Bank processing center, 1401 Dalton Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. after an employee opened mail with the white powder inside. Authorities closed the business to investigate the substance.
After an investigation, police and firefighters determined the white powder was not hazardous. Officials have not yet said what they believe the substance was, nor have they released information about who sent the powder.
Officials are continuing to investigate if criminal charges should be filed.
