CINCINNATI – A climber rappeled down the front of the iconic Union Terminal Friday.

Rachel Pohl, 21, descended more than 100 feet in front of a crowd to promote the new movie she’s in, “National Parks Adventure,” which is playing at the Cincinnati Museum Center’s Omnimax Theater.

Standing on the edge of the building was “nerve-racking,” Pohl said, but the snowy weather didn’t cause any issues.

“National Parks Adventure” will be the last film to play in the Omnimax before it closes for the Union Terminal renovations this summer. The movie “showcases the natural splendor of America’s national parks,” according to a press release.

“You’re going to see the most amazing visuals,” Pohl said. “The camera takes you hurtling down mountainsides. [There’s] really unique views of us climbing rocks, ice, and people rafting down the Grand Canyon. There’s also a lot of humor and really powerful, moving moments. I actually teared up several times while I was watching this film, it’s got a lot of emotion in it.”
