CINCINNATI – Two Walnut Hills residents who were indicted in October on multiple charges after evidence suggested they “recklessly tortured or cruelly abused” a three-month-old infant are scheduled to appear in a Hamilton County courtroom Wednesday.
Larhonda Price, 18, was indicted on three counts of child endangerment and two counts of felonious assault after the baby boy suffered serious injuries.
A second person, Alfonso Martin, 20, was indicted on four counts of child endangerment and three counts of felonious assault in the incident.
Both Martin and Price are being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center on $1 million bonds.
Price is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. to determine whether she is competent to stand trial.
Martin is also scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. to either enter a plea or set a date for trial.
