CINCINNATI -- A man accused of killing a 26-year-old in Walnut Hills in 2012 appeared in court Wednesday morning.
A judge said a trial date still needs to be set for Eugene Carlos Dukes, 19, who was arrested and charged with the murder of Kendall Hampton in September 2012.
On Aug. 18, Hampton was shot in the 1100 block of McMillan Street around 10:30 p.m. Police say Hampton was shot twice in a parking lot between the McDonald's and Dairy Mart on East McMillan and Victory Parkway.
Hampton was taken to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
