CINCINNATI - Cincinnati police are investigating two deaths that happened early Friday morning in Forest Park as a double homicide.
Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the shooting death of 21-year-old Gregory Hill at about 12:30 a.m. Police found out about the shooting after Hill was transported to Jewish Hospital with a gunshot wound. Hill later died from his injuries.
Police originally reported the shooting happened in the 3200 block of Gilbert Avenue in Walnut Hills, but upon further investigation discovered the incident happened in the 1990 block of Waycross Road in Forest Park.
At the same address in Forest Park, police responded to reports of shots fired around 11:40 a.m. Police searched the area and found a dead man laying in the grass with a gunshot wound. The victim was a 27-year-old whose name has not been released at this time.
Officials have not released information about a possible suspect in the shooting. The Cincinnati Police Department Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate both offenses as a double homicide.
