CINCINNATI – A teenager is in custody after he is accused of shooting a man outside of Murphy's Pub on the evening of Oct. 28.

Police did not release the name of the suspect on Tuesday because he is a 17-year-old minor.

A male and a female were stopped after leaving the establishment on Warner Street and Stratford Avenue by two males in an attempted robbery, police said. The suspects tried to take a purse and other items from the victims when a fight broke out and one robber shot the male victim in the abdomen, according to officials.

Police are still searching for the second suspect.

The male shot in the incident was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
