CINCINNATI — Authorities are searching for a man accused of attacking and inappropriately touching a University of Cincinnati student in her own front yard, and they’re warning people in the neighborhood to be on the lookout.

UC students received an email Monday about the attack.

According to the message, the student was in her front yard on Warner Street when a man who claimed he was lost came over to talk to her. During the conversation, the man began to grope her; the student tried to get away, but her attacker pushed her against a wall and continued to touch her without her consent.

UC is reminding students in the neighborhood to walk in groups and keep their friends informed about where they are.

If you have any information about this incident, call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.
