CINCINNATI -- A motorcyclist died Saturday night when he lost control of the vehicle and hit a pole and a tree, according to Cincinnati police.
Ladevan Johnson, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene on East McMillan Street near Kenton Street.
Sgt. Michael Machenheimer, a supervisor with the Cincinnati Police Department's Traffic Unit, said it appears Johnson was going too fast.
He also wasn't wearing a helmet, Machenheimer said in a news release.
