CINCINNATI -- Paddock Road was closed overnight between Tennessee Avenue and Sunnybrook Drive as police investigated a serious crash that sent two men to the hospital.

At about 8:50 p.m. Tuesday, 32-year-old Andrew Lee Walker was driving a 1998 Honda Accord north on Paddock Road near Clearbrook Drive when police say he failed to maintain control of his vehicle and struck a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu also being driven north by 24-year-old Jordan Winston.

After striking the Malibu, Walker’s vehicle drove off the right side of roadway and struck a utility pole and fire hydrant. Walker’s vehicle then entered the roadway again, crossed the center line and struck a parked 2002 Chevrolet Astro Van.

Walker's passenger, 32-year-old Brandon Sherfield was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in serious condition. He was not wearing his seatbelt.

Walker was also transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he remains stable. He was also not wearing his seatbelt.

Winston and his passenger, 27-year-old Sarafina Fumi-Fiama, were wearing their seatbelts and not injured.

Police said that excessive speed and impairment appear to be factors in this crash. The Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation and any witnesses to this crash are asked to contact them at 513-352-2514.
