CINCINNATI -- Two suspects are in custody after a man was shot 14 times in Over-the-Rhine late Wednesday, police said.
The shooting happened about 11:30 p.m. on the third floor of an apartment building in the 1600 block of Hamer Street.
The victim, identified as Ricardo Meadows, was driven to Christ Hospital but later taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center due to the severity of his injuries.
Police say the shooter was identified as Antonio Wethington. He was arrested at Liberty and Vine streets.
A second suspect was arrested after officers say they arrived at the scene to find the person trying to clean up blood in the hallway with bleach.
Wethington is charged with aggravated assault.
Police say Meadows and Wethington know each other but a motive has not yet been established.
