Police look for man accused of using counterfeit money to purchase more than $2,000 worth of Meijer gift cards.
CINCINNATI -- A man accused of using counterfeit money to purchase more than $2,000 in gift cards from a Meijer store in Oakley is on the loose.
Cincinnati police said the suspect bought four cards worth $2,019.80 at the store at 4825 Marburg Avenue on Nov. 20. The transactions took place at 3:16 p.m., police said.
Investigators haven't identified the suspect but have released surveillance photos of the man. The images are available in the media player above.
