CINCINNATI -- A Tri-State third-grader is hearing from the President of the United States, all because she followed through on a class assignment.
The letter from President Obama was an eye-opener for Anneliese Brouwer and her classmates at The New School Montessori in North Avondale. She sent the letter last year and held her expectations in check.
"I didn't think I was going to get a letter back," she said.
Then, on the first day of school, she got her response.
