A new grant is giving Roberts Academy students a reason to smile.
Delta Dental's Brighter Future Community Grant is bringing toothbrushes, tooth paste and information to kids and parents at Robert Academy.
The American Academy of Pediatrics says tooth decay is the most chronic childhood disease in the country.
"I had a lot of cavities as a kid too, so I know that tooth pain," said Melissa Marshall, a public health nurse with Cincinnati Health Department. "What was surprising to me is that was just something that some of these kids live with. These were fairly large cavities that I was seeing in a lot of the kids here at school."
