One person shot, killed near Kennedy Heights Park in same area of deadly shooting two weeks ago

CINCINNATI -- One person was shot to death Wednesday evening near Kennedy Heights Park, the same area where two people were shot exactly two weeks ago.
Responding officers found the victim at about 5:10 p.m. at 3561 Woodford Road.
The victim, who has been identified as Christopher Burroughs, 52, was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Some residents who live near the site of the shooting say the area used to be safe.
David Love, a friend of the victim who said he's known him since third grade, is afraid the area is getting worse.
On June 12, 22-year-old Dominque Hall died from his injuries after being shot in the 6000 block of Kennedy Avenue. The other victim received non life-threatening injuries.
There is no word if these shootings are related.
Law enforcement officials have not released information regarding a motive or possible suspects in the case.
Both shootings remains under investigation.
