CINCINNATI - Officials are working to determine the cause of a Hyde Park house fire that caused about $30,000 in damage Tuesday night.
A house at 3530 Bayard Drive caught fire at about 11 p.m. Tuesday. The blaze started on the first floor of the house and the occupants of the household escaped without any injuries, according to information Cincinnati Fire Department released Wednesday morning.
Thirty-six firefighters responded to the scene and extinguished the flames in about 10 minutes.
Officials say the fire caused about $30,000 in damage, most of which was smoke related. Authorities are working to investigate the cause of the fire.
The house did have working smoke detectors, officials said.
Authorities have not released any additional details about the fire at this time.
