CINCINNATI - A man accused of a series of flashing incidents in the Hyde Park area more than a year ago is a free man after a judge dismissed his case Monday.
A judge dismissed the case against Darnell Dukes on Monday morning when he appeared a Hamilton County courtroom. Dukes was scheduled to begin his trial Monday.
The 35-year-old pleaded not guilty to six counts of public indecency in January, but changed his story since his confession that month to exposing himself in the Hyde Park and Oakley communities between August 2011 and October 2011.
On Monday, a judge dismissed the case because Dukes, who has been incarcerated since January, has already served the prison time that would be required if he were sentenced.
In January, Hamilton County Judge Tyrone Yates denied Dukes' request for a lower bond. He was being held on $30,000 bond.
