Police identify 17-year-old shot, killed in Evanston

CINCINNATI - Authorities have identified a teenager who was shot and killed in Evanston Wednesday night.

Cincinnati police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of Hewitt Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. and upon arrival, found 17-year-old Jordan Dawson with gunshot wounds.

Emergency crews transported Dawson to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he died from his injuries.

Officials have not released any additional details about the shooting at this time, including a suspect description.
