Police: Man shot multiple times in Evanston, transported to UCMC

Evanston mom coping with death of son

CINCINNATI - Authorities say a man was shot multiple times near Clarion Avenue and Montgomery Road in Evanston around 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Police believe the victim, who has not been identified, was shot while inside a vehicle.

The victim was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds. Police say he is expected to be OK.

One person is in custody and another suspect remains at large, according to police.

This is the second shooting in Evanston reported this week. On Monday evening, a 16-year-old boy was shot and killed at after leaving the Evanston Recreation Center. That case remains under investigation and no arrests have been made.

No other details on Tuesday's shooting are available at this time.
